About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the VaultWise mobile application ("App") handles your personal data. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
VaultWise is a personal finance tracking app designed for individual use, developed by Gökhan Ünsal.
What Data is Collected?
No personal data is collected.
VaultWise does not request or collect any personal information from users. The App does not:
- Require account creation or sign-in.
- Ask for your name, email address, phone number, or ID.
- Use location data.
- Request access to your camera, microphone, or contacts.
- Build advertising profiles.
Where is Your Financial Data Stored?
When you delete the App, all data on your device is also deleted. We therefore recommend exporting your data as CSV or PDF from the Settings section before uninstalling.
Internet Connection and Network Traffic
VaultWise does not require an internet connection for its core features. The App does not automatically connect to any remote server.
The only network activity performed by the App is app updates delivered through the App Store, which are managed entirely by Apple's infrastructure.
Third-Party Services
VaultWise does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The following service is outside the scope of this policy:
- Apple App Store: App purchases and updates are governed by Apple's policies. You can read Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/privacy.
Children's Privacy
VaultWise is not directed at children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect personal data from any user, no data relating to children is processed.
Data Security
Your data is kept in your device's secure local storage. Device-level security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) also protects your data. Since VaultWise has no server-side infrastructure, there is no risk of your data being affected by a server breach.
Your Rights
Since your data exists only on your device, you have full control over it:
- Access: All your data is accessible directly within the app.
- Export: You can export your data as CSV or PDF at any time.
- Deletion: You can permanently delete all your data by removing the app from your device.
Policy Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. When significant changes are made, the updated policy will be published on this page. We recommend checking back periodically for the latest version.
